Tim Spreng´s latest music documentary We Intend To Cause Havoc (co-writer, producer, DOP) won the Grand Prize at JIMFF in South Korea, the Grand Jury Price at Bordeaux Musical Ecran and was nominated at A-film festivals like IFFR Rotterdam, Warsaw IFF and DOKfest Munich. After getting reviews in the New York Times and The Guardian, the film hit N°1 in the US iTunes/Apple TV charts Music Doc section in July 2021.

Tim is owner and co-founder of the film production company Pantheon Pictures – where he is leading the company as an Executive Producer. For selected projects he works as a writer, director and DoP. Under the brand name SPRENGFILM PRODUCTIONS Tim is creating short films, music videos and promotional films for NGOs and companies that matter.

Recently Tim Spreng is part of the Jury at SOUNDTRACK COLOGNE, europe´s leading congress for music and sound in film. Since 2021 Tim is 1st chairman of the 40 year old Jazz Club “Le Pirate” in Rosenheim, Germany.
